Shankar Narayanan heads up TCS’ second largest country operation. Tom Ridsdill-Smith

Tom manages Woodside’s Data Science and IT as Chief Digital Officer. Prior to this he has worked in a variety of roles for Woodside including as VP Science, Chief Scientist, Chief Geophysicist. Before joining Woodside in early 2000, Tom worked for 5 year in airborne geophysics at World Geoscience Corporation. Tom is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia.

Dr. Harrick Vin

Over the past 20 years, Harrick has been involved in developing novel solutions in variety of areas in computing. Prior to this role, Harrick was the Chief Scientist of the Tata Research Development and Design Centre (TRDDC) at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He was also the Global Head for Innovation and Transformation for IT Infrastructure Services at TCS. Harrick has authored more than 150 papers in leading international journals and conferences and is a recipient of several awards.

Professor Kevin Warwick

Keynote: Cyborgs, Robots with brains and Turing conversations with AI

Formerly Professor of Cybernetics at the University of Reading, Kevin carries out research in artificial intelligence, control and robotics, and has been described as Britain’s leading prophet of the robot age. As well as publishing over 500 research papers, Kevin’s experiments into implant technology led to him being featured as the cover story on the US magazine ‘Wired’. In 1998 he shocked the international scientific community by having a silicon chip transponder surgically implanted in his left arm.

Prof. Avishai Wool, Chief Technology Officer, Algosec Prof. Avishai Wool is an associate professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University. He is also deputy-director of the Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center at TAU. His research interests include computer, network, and wireless security, SCADA systems, smart-card and RFID systems, sidechannel cryptanalysis, and firewall technology. Prior to joining Tel Aviv University, Prof. Wool spent four years as a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ, USA. In 2000 he co-founded Lumeta Corp. In 2003 he co-founded AlgoSec Systems, a network security company, for which he continues to serve as Chief Technical Officer.

Rakesh Lakhani

Rakesh’s team works across TCS accounts to provide thought leadership, payments re-imagination, programme & architectural governance and subject matter expertise for payments transformation programmes; these include legacy system re-engineering and payments innovation. Rakesh has an extensive architecture background with over a decade of experience implementing the ACH transformation programme in the UK and rolling out the UK faster payments central implementation. He has also had extensive experience transforming a cross border B2B money transfer platform.

Dana Tamir

Dana Tamir has over 15 years of real-world expertise in the cyber security industry. Dana joined Indegy as VP Marekting after leading IBM-Trusteer product marketing for advanced malware protection solutions . Prior to IBM-Trusteer, Dana led product management and product marketing activities at Imperva (IMPV). Dana also held various security roles at leading companies including Symantec, Bindview and Amdocs. Dana holds an engineering degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, in addition to a number of industry and vendor certifications.

Ajay Nandgaonkar

Dr. Ajay Nandgaonkar is a computational physicist by training. His areas of interests include analytics, modeling and simulation of physical systems, computational materials science, high performance computing, medical device design and design thinking. His other interests include cycling, inland wind surfing, enterprise sailing, biking, trekking, typography, cinema, Indian classical music and making a lot of noise with a range of percussion instruments.

Barak Perelman

CEO and Co-Founder, Indegy

Barak Perelman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Indegy, an industrial cybersecurity startup building a comprehensive security and governance platform to protect industrial networks and critical infrastructures. Before founding Indegy, Perelman led several multimillion dollar cybersecurity projects at the Israeli Defense Force and received commendation for his service and achievements. He is a graduate of the elite Talpiot military academy and has over 15 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructures. Perelman holds a B.Sc. in computer science, physics and math, and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University.

Gopalan is responsible for continuing to develop TCS’ footprint within the Scottish market. He successfully grew the region for TCS over a 4 year period developing and managing several long standing client relationships. Additionally, Gopalan is responsible for UK Sales for Hi-tech, Energy, Life Sciences and Manufacturing sectors for TCS UK operations. In February 2016, Gopalan was invited by Scottish Government to join their exclusive GlobalScot Network of business leaders and influencers in Scotland.

Dr. Venkataramana Runkana

Dr. Venkataramana Runkana leads the Unit Innovation Programme for Manufacturing & Engineering and Industrial Services Business Units.Venkat has more than 25 years of experience in process modeling, simulation and optimization, advanced data analytics, and process development, scale-up and design. Venkat received the TCS Distinguished Scientist Award in 2014 and is an AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor at IIT Kanpur since May 2013.

During his 23 years of career with TCS, Shekar has managed several relationships and large programs including the largest IT project of its type in the retail domain in UK. Sumit Kumar Ray

Sumit has over 18 years of experience in projects involving IT, instrumentation, and automation. He is the architect of the TCS’ framework for smart metering and is presently driving all of TCS’ smart metering initiatives. He leads the program support for TCS’ smart metering projects in the UK, the US, and Australia, and has hands-on experience with leading metering systems, meter data management, and home automation products. In the past, Sumit has worked with ABB and Emerson Electric on power plant automation projects and power SCADA projects.

Dr. Gabrielle Walker
