The shortage of students studying STEM is a national priority. As a global technology company it is our aim to use our core business to impact the STEM shortage in Australia. The TCS’ GoIT Challenge aims to inspire year 8 students to think differently about technology. To learn technical aspects – but more importantly to apply technology to any educational discipline, to any industry or to any community problem.

How it Works

There are two components to GoIT Challenge; 5 classroom quizzes and a community project .

  1. 5 quizzes on technology and their application to multi-disciplinary areas. Classroom quizzes can be found here .
  2. A project that applies technology to solve a problem in the student’s community.

There is no cost for your school to take part in the GoIT Challenge.

Supporting the Curriculum

We have mapped the GoIT Challenge to the curriculum to assist teachers to engage students across a number of classroom settings.
